Maggie Grace is an American actor who was born Margaret Grace Denig in 1983. Her most famous roles include Shannon Rutherford, a character from ABC's Lost series as well as Kim Mills from the Taken trilogy. Maggie Grace, originally from Worthington in Ohio, dropped out high school, and relocating in Los Angeles after her divorced parents. Even though she had financial difficulties in 2001, her debut came acting as Rachel's Room's main character. In 2002 she was nominated to receive a Young Artist Award with her role as 15-year old murdered Martha Moxley. Grace Rutherford was the character Shannon Rutherford for Lost's first two seasons in 2004, and was awarded a Screen Actors Guild Award (with all the other actors) along with her. Grace was keen to pursue film after playing opposite Tom Welling's character on The Fog, in 2005. Grace has been on Suburban Girl The Jane Austen Book Club as well in 2007 and Taken opposite Liam Neeson in 2008 as Kim Mills. She reprised the role in Taken 2 (2012) and Taken 3 (2014).She played the leading role in Alice in Malice in Wonderland a modern take on Lewis Carroll's novel Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Grace played the role of Shannon in Lost, including the finale. In 2013, she was a guest in the sixth series of Californication. The character she plays is Faith who's both a star-gazer and groupie. Hank Moody, played by David Duchovny, falls for her. Maggie Gyllenhaal.........................Margalit Ruth Gyllenhaal ( born November 16 1977) is an American actress and filmmaker. Part of the Gyllenhaal family she is the child of filmmakers Stephen Gyllenhaal and Naomi Achs and the older cousin of the actor Jake Gyllenhaal. In her early teens She appeared in small roles in films made by her father. She also she co-starred alongside her sister in Donnie Darko which is a popular cult movie. She then appeared on Adaptation Confessions of a Dangerous Mind (both 2002) and Mona Lisa Smile (2003). Gyllenhaal received critical acclaim for her performance in the erotic romantic comedy Secretary (2002) and in the thriller Sherrybaby (2006) both of which brought her a Golden Globe Award nomination. She appeared in numerous commercially successful movies including World Trade Center. However the role she played in the role of Rachel Dawes that brought her more attention with The Dark Knight (2008). In recognition of her role as a single mom in Crazy Heart (2009) she got a nomination in the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress. Following that, she went on to play in comedies and dramas like Nanny McPhee and The Big Bang (2010) Hysteria (2011), and Won't Back Down (12). Other roles she has played include Secret Service agents in White House Down (2013 an action thriller), actors in Frank (2014 Drama The Kindergarten Teacher 2018), and her role as the Kindergarten Teacher. In 2021, Gyllenhaal was able to make her writing and directed debut in the psychological drama The Lost Daughter for which she received The Lost Daughter the Venice International Film Festival's Best Screenplay Award and was nominated for the Academy Award for Best Adapted Screenplay.
